Clubhouse Class Calendar

These classes are run by outside companies / instructors / teachers. For specific questions on the class please contact them direct on the number or email provided. There are changing rooms, showers which you are welcome to use along with the barefoot cafe on site and £1/hr pay and display on street parking outside.

This class calendar provides basic information on the classes but does not include dates where the classes aren’t running due to holidays etc. Most classes offer drop-in but not all so it’s best to check directly with the instructor if you are unsure.

Power Pilates with Ellie

9:30am – 10:30am 

Enjoy a flowing Pilates class that will work your body from head to toe. Focus on balance, connecting with your core, breath and control. Make use of the small Pilates props to challenge your proprioception and to deepen your mat work.

Leave feeling energised, stretched and toned. A perfect hour class to get your body in shape and your head in a good space. These classes are suitable for all ages and levels of ability.

5 Waves on the Beach – 5 Rhythms Dance with Tess Howell

11am – 12:30pm 

5 Rhythms is a dynamic moving meditation practice. There are no steps to learn, nothing to get right, just being with our own body as we move to the music.

11am to 12.30pm These are studio based classes and use in-studio speakers (no headsets). There are three dates in Autumn: 25th September, 16th October & 23rd October.
Cost is £12/ £10 concessions. No booking required.

 Pilates Flow with Heather Hoffman (Intermediate level)

9:15am – 10:15am 

This class has a continuous feel to it. Designed to take you from one exercise to the next in a fluid and streamlined way, so that you feel energised and challenged by the end of the class. We use Pilates props most of the time to keep things fresh and fun! Previous Pilates experience is required as the class moves at a consistent pace. If you have your own mat, you are welcome to bring it, otherwise mats are available.

Get all the benefits of Pilates but safely work up a sweat with Brighton’s newest addition, HIT Pilates. It’s new to Brighton and no one else is doing it!

 

HIT stands for (high intensity training). In this class enjoy a fat burning, heart pumping session whilst still maintaining the ever important Pilates principles of correct alignment, breath, stamina and control.

 

This class incorporates quick bursts of high intensity exercises to work up a sweat combined with toning, more typical Pilates segments. This combination is fantastic to create a long, lean physique like no other workout can. These classes are suitable for all ages and levels of ability.

Barre Class with Amanda Burton
6.45-7.45pm
The low impact, total body workout lifts the butt, tones the thighs, flattens the abs and sculpts the arms, whilst protecting the joints. Small isometric contractions are performed and integrated with an interval training approach that burns fat and improves cardiovascular fitness. Posture, flexibility, stamina and core strength improve. The result is a body that is realigned, rebalanced and works harmoniously and efficiently. Stretches are performed to ensure the muscles are re-lengthened to create a body that is strong without the added bulk of other workout regimes.

12.30-1.15pm – Baby Bells – Suitable from newborn to sitting babies

Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Chloe

This class is a powerful, all-level vinyasa yoga class, in which we will explore the physical practice of yoga as a medicinal metaphor for the transitions and flows of life. The classes are dynamic and strong, playful and energising, ending with a time for stillness and surrender. Join Chloe and expand your edges and boundaries with the practice of intensity, returning to your core with the restorative power of stilling movement.

Pregnancy Yoga with Bee

This class is designed to help you connect with your baby and to the inherent wisdom you hold within, which will guide you through your pregnancy, labour and into motherhood.

We will delve into various techniques for the preparation of labour, relaxation, and also for opening and strengthening your body for the many changes your pregnancy brings.

Pregnancy Yoga is suitable from 15 weeks onwards and it’s never too late to start!

Busylizzy Family Club – Fun for little ones age 0-4 yrs, and postnatal fitness for Mums too!

10.00 – 10.45: BABY YOGA for parents and babies 6wks – crawling
Lovely, nurturing class for parents and babies to enjoy together. The class incorporates Baby Yoga (parent moving baby into gentle yoga poses), Baby Massage (strokes and techniques to soothe baby and promote wellbeing) and Parent / Baby Yoga too (for Mum or Dad to enjoy the session too!). It’s a lovely way to bond with your baby and will leave you both feeling beautifully zen!
This class runs every other week: Nov 11th & 25th and Dec 9th

11.00 – 11.45: HIP HOP TOTS for 2-4 yr olds

Get down with the latest hip-hop moves! Using uplifting chart music, children will learn floor work, rhythmical expression and style, and are encouraged to introduce their own personal moves into the class. Let your kids show off at the next family wedding, Gangnam style! No experience required. This class is great for burning off some of that extra energy.

12.00 – 12.45: MUMMY & ME PILATES for Mums with pre-walking babies

This class is aimed at new mummies, so expect to work those stubborn areas affected by pregnancy and labour. The class is for Mums, and babies (non walkers only please!) are welcome too – they are safely placed on duvets and cushions with soft toys while you enjoy your workout, and it’s a really relaxed environment so completely fine if you need to stop for a min to feed or change your little one!

1.15 – 2.00: BABY SIGNING for 3 months to walking babies

Tots tantrums are often caused by frustration as they struggle to communicate. This class teaches you a language you can both understand. Each week it covers a different theme which incorporates puppetry, songs and gestures all wrapped up in a supportive environment with lots of opportunity for questions, answers and a chance to recap where needed.
