The Clubhouse is available to hire for meetings, parties and classes. Yellowave has changing rooms, showers and the Barefoot Cafe on site. Parking outside the venue is £1/hr pay and display.

This class calendar shows all the activities run on a weekly basis. The sessions are all are run by outside companies / instructors / teachers. To book in or for specific questions on the class please contact the instructor direct on the number or email provided.

Physiotherapy Led Pilates: 6.15 – 7.15pm 

 

Experience a very personal flowing physiotherapist led Pilates class with a focus on the entire body. Physiotherapy led Pilates is aimed at rehabilitation, maintenance and improving general health and wellbeing. To ensure you get the most out of the class, I will get to know your medical history prior to starting the class by getting you to fill out a health questionnaire. This will allow me to adapt to your unique circumstances, this class is suitable for all abilities as it is tailored to you the individual.

Chakradance 7.30-9pm:

 

As a dynamic moving meditation, Chakradance takes the dancer on a journey inwards through spontaneous movement, guided imagery and pulsing music. In a candlelit space, no one is watching or judging. We are free to experience ourselves in totality, witnessing and releasing all that comes up, thereby integrating the mental, physical and emotional aspects of our being.

 

Chakradance music is key, specific frequencies of sound have a lasting effect, the vibrations continue to pulse outwards into our energy field long after the dance ends. The more we experience these healing sounds, the greater and more permanent the effect and when combined with spontaneous dance, the healing effect is magnified. With its roots in Jungian psychology, Chakradance encourages people to dance for self-discovery and self-healing. Some describe it as like entering ‘a waking dream’, others say it’s a feeling of ‘coming home’. After the dance there is a creative art exercise which integrates our experience, optional sharing and closing meditation.

 

People from all ages (16-90) can participate, some people are attracted to a fun cardio workout, others journey more profoundly. Whatever your intention, it requires participation on all levels. Chakradance is extremely therapeutic, although not in an analytical way. The key to its healing power is the experience itself.

Pilates Flow with Heather Hoffman (Intermediate level)

9:15am – 10:15am 

This class has a continuous feel to it. Designed to take you from one exercise to the next in a fluid and streamlined way, so that you feel energised and challenged by the end of the class. We use Pilates props most of the time to keep things fresh and fun! Previous Pilates experience is required as the class moves at a consistent pace. If you have your own mat, you are welcome to bring it, otherwise mats are available.

The intention of my class is to connect body and mind combining the fun and energy of Espressi Zumba with a final relaxing meditation.

Espressi zumba is a music exercise class where you will move to the rhythm of Latin and pop music. There is no need to be able to dance, only the willingness to let yourselves go and have fun :-) In the last 15 minutes of the class, we will complete with a relaxing guided meditation.
